Make Your Own Pressed Flower Frame

✂︎ Let’s learn the beautiful, delicate art of flower pressing! Join Joanna, a Pressed Flower Artist and the founder of The Gallery J in this creative hands-on workshop.

Joanna will teach you the history of flower pressing and the basic steps on how to press your own flowers using a flower press. You will learn how to preserve flowers through presentation, using pressed flowers from Joanna’s own garden, leaving with your very own handmade pressed flower frame to keep, or gift to someone special.
Joanna is a botanical artist from Perth, Western Australia. Her beauitful business, The Gallery J was born from the influence of her younger days immersed in nature and the desire to make memories that you can wear, or use to enhance your home.

This passion led to creating sentimental gifts from pressed flowers. What is so special about her pieces are that the flowers and greeneries are grown and harvested from her own garden. Throughout the lengthy process, each flower is handled with tenderness and care. The uniqueness of The Gallery J, stems from her memories and life experience. Inspired by feelings of melancholy and nostalgia, her compositions are designed with special meaning or stories behind them.

Joanna’s dream for The Gallery J is to create pieces that will be shared and passed on from one generation to the next. Each composition of flower and greenery ages with time, recreating a new appearance of the sentimental piece.
