Kerry is a big craft lover and has tried many over the years. Her current passions are in crochet and quilting and as a true creative, her mind is constantly running and working on what she can create next.
Kerry learned to crochet in her teenage years and started to take it seriously around 10 years ago when she crocheted her first blanket. Blankets are her specialty as they suit her and her crochet style perfectly! Kerry loves the creative energy of the design and planning process. Most of all, she loves the mindfulness and meditative benefits of the practice and the appreciation of the finished product.
Kerry loves the challenge of trying new designs, she researches all patterns in depth allowing her to give the best tips and tricks to her students. She is currently working on new projects including beanies, scarves, washcloths and baskets, and hopes to one day be able to teach them all to you!
A: Unfortunately our workshop tickets are non-refundable and unable to be rescheduled due to our busy calendar and even busier workshop facilitators. COVID-19 cancellation requests may be rescheduled upon consultation with our Claude St Team. Workshop tickets must be paid in full upon booking. A: Yes, we do offer private workshops as well as space hire for functions. Visit our Private Functions page for more information and fill out our enquiry form for a tailored package to suit your function needs.
A: Yes, you may bring your own food and drink, or we can cater for you. Please be aware our catering is limited to individual cheeseboards, cake, sparkling wine, tea & coffee.
We have glassware, cutlery, urn, water jugs and crockery available for use. Our kitchen also features a microwave and conventional oven, available for use upon request. All food and drinks must be removed upon completion of function and a cleaning fee of used glassware etc will be included in the price of the space hire. A: We are able to reschedule a private function as long as we a minimum of two weeks notice is given. As our calendar is very busy, we cannot guarantee a specific date when rescheduling.
