An Introduction to Modern Calligraphy

✂︎ It’s time to dive into the world of modern calligraphy, and what better way to do that than with our introductory workshop! Join Flo of Lovinga Designs and begin learning the art of decorative handwriting and lettering.

In this workshop Flo will teach you how to create beautiful calligraphy using brush pens, and in future workshops will touch on different mediums such as nibs,  and watercolour brushes. Learn the basic strokes using brush pens and focus on improvement along with breathing exercises, which will help translate letters into words.

Flo will teach you the basic foundations, knowledge and understanding, around modern calligraphy, arming you with the ability to develop your own beautiful style.

Floryntina, or Flo, has always loved beautiful handwriting. Even in todays digitally driven world she still prefers to take the analog route and admires the sentimentality of written pieces.

Flo began her learning journey of calligraphy in 2019 where she was immediately hooked! Her hobby turned addiction had her practicing day and night, experimenting with many different mediums and surfaces including engraving and hot foiling.

Today Flo specialises in acrylic signage, place cards for events and on site brand activations including engraving and luxury ink calligraphy. She absolutely loves helping to elevate your special day and gifting experiences.
